The Road to Wholeness: Integrating Our Shadow Selves
A Workshop with Kai Macauley
Is your shadow hiding from you? In this workshop we will explore this important aspect of ourselves. Working with polarities to balance dualistic energies you will learn shadow work tools for personal transformation, how to deal with the relationship between judgment and shadow and identify the difference between darkness and shadow. We'll incorporate movement and sound and leave with individualized practices to delve deeper into our own explorations of our shadow selves. Note: Kai will also be available at Mirabai on October 29th for private shadow work sessions.

Cost: $20 if registered and prepaid by October 25th; $25 if registering after the 25th.

Teacher Bio: Kai Macauley is a shamanic practitioner/facilitator, who supports people to work within dualistic structures so as to balance and integrate both polarities. Kai is uniquely gifted in this area having learned to balance the polarities implicit in gender: Kai is a two-spirit, someone who walks the line of polarity, mastering the dance and flow of moving from one edge to the other. Kai's work is informed by the shamanic traditions of a number of different cultures. They describe their work as transcultural animistic shamanism in which everything is imbued with spirit and practices are rooted in direct connection with present corporeal experience.

Kaiís previous career working with animals informs their work so he understands how to reprogram imprints and behaviors. Kaiís method is a relational one, being able at once to be a support, a channel, and a catalyst as needed. You may see Kai Incorporating various methods and medicines including shadow work and the use of plant, animal, and crystal spirits. If you are ready to move past being solely a seeker to explore deeper foundational shamanic practices then Kai is the perfect partner for this next-level work.
