Common Threads: The I Ching, Tao Te Ching & the Art of Mindfulness
A Workshop with Timothy Liu
The I Ching (Book of Changes) is a Chinese Oracle consisting of 64 divinatory hexagrams, their origins going back 5000 years. The Tao Te Ching (Book of the Way of Virtue) is more recent, portions of its 81 poems dating back to 400 BCE. Both books help us live our lives by looking at how we might balance Yin and Yang energies (feminine and masculine) as we stay on our spiritual paths. Both books teach us how to get out of our own way, encouraging the Ego to recede so that the higher Self might come forward. This workshop will explore how we can incorporate such classic texts into our mindfulness practices, poetry and divination in tandem offering uncanny guidance.

Cost: $20 if registered and prepaid by November 16th; $25 if registering after the 16th.
