Exploring Iconography of the Tarot
A Workshop with Silvia Forni
The Tarot is not a magic act. Rather, it’s an aid for opening up to and following one’s intuition. Join reader Silvia Forni for a relaxing afternoon exploring the mysteries, legacy and illumination of the Tarot and how it can assist you in charting your life’s journey. Today’s workshop will not only provide an overview of iconography across the major and minor arcana, but also take a deep dive into the rich symbolism of three specific cards: the Tower (renewal, reassessment), the Lovers (trust, dual nature, bonds), and the World (cosmic protection). We will also examine the channeling of energy and empathy, the pros and cons of single, three-card and cross readings and how to clear space, as well as the use of stones in readings. Silvia’s affinity for the tarot began at her aunt’s knee in Florence Italy and has flourished into a lifelong vocation in order to help others with their life journeys. Both experienced readers and those new to the art are welcome. Come deepen your knowledge of the cards and sharpen your interpretive skills. Please note that Silvia will also be doing private readings in February and March at Mirabai – call the shop for exact dates and times.

Cost: $20 if registered and prepaid by Feb 28th; $25 if registering after the 28th.
